An Established Center with a Caring Staff

Founded more than 30 years ago, the Children’s Learning Center provides childcare in a beautiful, modern facility in the college’s Student Services Center (Building S) just steps from Pace bus stops, making access via public transportation easy and convenient. Our center is open to children of our students, faculty and staff, and those in the community.

We are licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and are listed with the Cook County Childcare Resource and Referral Agency.

Our center features four bright and colorful children’s classrooms, a large motor-development room, parent observation room, kitchen, and a secure and fully enclosed outdoor playground. We also have our own garden, which is tended by our children.

An on-campus food service provider supplies nutritious hot lunches and snacks prepared to meet the USDA requirements for young children, with no added sugar. If your child has special food needs, let us know. Meals may be adapted to accommodate dietary and cultural restrictions.
