Bus Routes

Important information about Pace converting to
Ventra™ fare payment system

*Pace bus routes serve Moraine Valley every week day with stops in front of buildings S and U.
*VENTRA™ passes are now sold in the Cashier’s Office (S105) for CASH ONLY.
*Immediately upon purchase, register your card at ventrachicago.com

Here’s how it works at Moraine Valley Community College:

  • Customers may add transit value (dollar amount) or a 30-day pass ($60) to the Ventra™ card.
  • Initially, a minimum of $1 must be purchased in addition to the $5 purchase fee for the card to be activated.
  • The $5 purchase fee will be credited to your transit account when you go to ventrachicago.com to register your card.
  • Registering your card also gives you access to convenient account management features online or over the phone.
  • Customers may later return to the Cashier’s Office to add transit value or passes to the same card.
  • If your Ventra™ card is lost AND was registered, you may cancel it on the associated Ventra Account by calling 1.877.NOW.VENTRA (1.877.669.8368) and request a replacement card (a $5 replacement fee will apply).

Pace Campus Connection is now the Ventra™ Pace College Program

  •  It offers unlimited rides on Pace fixed routes, including weekends and holidays.
  • Students must show their Moraine Valley Community College ID at the Cashier’s Office to be eligible to receive this reduced fare card.
  • There is no $5 purchase fee required.
  • The semester long Ventra™ Pace College Program Pass costs only $175 and is valid Jan. 1–May 31, 2014
  • Students purchasing the pass later in the semester will pay a prorated price and still take advantage of cost savings.
  •  Purchased during February - $165
  • Purchased during March - $140
  • Purchased during April - $105
  • If your Ventra™ card is lost AND was registered, you may cancel it on the associated Ventra Account by calling 1.877.NOW.VENTRA (1.877.669.8368) and request a replacement card (a $5 replacement fee will apply).

**Customers who have 10-ride passes (paper and magnetic stripe) in their possession at this time may continue to use them through June 30, 2014.
