Program Eligibility

I’d like to earn college credit while I’m still in high school! What should I do?
To be eligible for the Tech Prep Dual Credit Program at Moraine Valley Community College, you must:

  1. Attend a school within the Moraine Area Career System (MACS). The MACS high schools include all of the schools in the following high school districts: 217, 218, 220, 229, 230 and 231.
  2. Complete a dual credit enrollment form. Contact your high school counselor or the Moraine Area Career System (MACS) at (708) 422-6230 for more information.
  3. Earn a grade of “A” or “B” in designated high school Tech Prep Dual Credit courses.

Once you successfully complete a Tech Prep Dual Credit course, the credit you’ve earned will be added to your high school transcript and to a Moraine Valley Community College transcript.
