Graduation Requirements for Associate's Degrees—All students pursuing an associate's degree must meet certain requirements as specified in the college catalog. Students must petition for graduation by the appropriate deadline indicated below.

Graduation Petition Deadlines
Fall graduation (December) Sept. 15
Spring graduation (May) Feb. 3
Summer graduation (August) June 1
If any of the above deadlines fall on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, the date to accept petitions will be extended through the next day school is in session.
A nonrefundable graduation petition fee is charged. Petitions are available at the Admission Office, Building S, Room S101, and for download. Submit and pay appropriate fee in the Cashier's Office, S103. Six weeks are required for final certification and mailing of diplomas.

Graduation Ceremony—Moraine Valley's graduation ceremony is held once a year at the end of spring semester for graduates from the previous summer and fall semesters and current spring graduates.
