Campus Expansion Continues...

Moraine Valley’s campus is taking on a new look as work continues on the Vernon O. Crawley Science Hall, Moraine Business and Conference Center, Student Services Building and Student Union. The steel framework of the Moraine Business and Conference Center went up this spring (photo at right) and work on the building is moving along steadily. In addition to new facilities, plans also include renovating Buildings A, B, and L by enlarging some classrooms and increasing the teaching technology throughout to enhance student learning.

The college purchased 12.6 acres of land in Tinley Park for the new Southwest Education Center, anticipated to open in January 2010. This 37,500-squarefoot facility will include 12 classrooms and be LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified.
